Academic Advising Council

The Academic Advising Council (AAC) represents advising offices from around UCF. The mission of the AAC is:

In keeping with UCF's mission, academic advising recognizes education as more than classroom experiences. Academic advising at UCF is a basic component of the educational process. It is a developmental process that assists students in the clarification of life goals, and provides the opportunity to synthesize their goals and program choices into educational plans through which they can realize their maximum educational potential. It ensures that each student will make the best possible use of the University's resources.

The AAC Web site contains links to campus advising offices, advising handbooks (if available at individual colleges, programs, and offices), and further resources for academic advisors.
