To place an order for the UCF-supported classroom response system, please send an email with the following information to fctl@mail.ucf.edu

  • Instructor Name
  • Department
  • Office Location
  • Phone number
  • Email Address
  • Semester You Are Using CPS
  • Course Title, Section Number, and Classroom Location
  • Will You Operate CPS from the classroom computer console(OIR will install the software)?
    or
    your own laptop (the Faculty Center will contact you)?

  1. The Faculty Center will forward your order to eInstruction and will send the Office of Instructional Resources the classroom information you provided for the installation of the software and receiver units.
  2. Then, eInstruction will send you an Instructor Setup Code (see Course Setup).
  3. The instructor must place an order with the campus computer store or bookstore for response pads. The students purchase their response pads at the computer store or bookstore (whichever you order from) and then activate their response pads online at www.einstruction.com. As an instructor, you will also be provided with your own response pad.
