- Download the latest version of CPS for PowerPoint and CPS for PC.
- Install CPS for PC First and go through the default settings for setup. It might ask if you want to restart the computer after setup; choose No.
- Install CPS for PowerPoint and go through the default settings for setup.
- Restart the Computer.
- Open up CPS for PC or CPS for PowerPoint and create/open a database. If you do not have ad database, select “Create New Database”.
- Using CPS for PC:
- Under settings, go to “Delivery Settings” and click on the “Receiver tab”.
- Click on “Detect CPS Receiver” and hit OK.
- CPS for PowerPoint
- Click on the CPS tab on the top.
- Click on “Delivery Options”.
- Click on the “Receiver tab”.
- Click on “Detect CPS Receiver” and hit OK.
*If a receiver is less than 200ft from another classroom that has another receiver installed in the room, make sure they are both set on different channels. To change/view channels, under the “Receiver tab”, you can change/view the channel number under the “RF Receiver Options: Base Channel”. The channel range is from 1-75. Make sure you select “Apply” once changing the receiver channel.
*Every time the receiver is plugged into the computer, you must detect the CPS Receiver (you may use either of the programs). If there are any issues regarding problems with student clickers not joining, then “not detecting the receiver” is usually the case.
