Kevin joined UCF in 2004, after teaching at the University of California Irvine, Pomona College, the University of Iowa, and Duke University. He completed a Ph.D. in German Literature from UC-Irvine in 1997. His disciplinary research includes German Romanticism, Goethe, fairy tales, and 19th-century German novellas.

At the Faculty Center, Kevin supports all faculty at UCF, with some special attention given to adjuncts and GTAs. He is particularly interested in new technology tools for teaching, such as classroom clickers, wikis, blogs, podcasts, online pedagogy, and persistent online worlds. He is always glad to assist with electronic gradebooks and grade reporting tools as well.
