Dr. Tace Crouse is the Assistant Director of the Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning at the University of Central Florida. The Faculty Center provides professional development for over 1200 full-time and 600 part-time faculty and graduate teaching assistants. Prior to coming to the Faculty Center in 2004, she served on the faculty and was Assistant to the Chair of the Educational Studies Department. She continues to teach graduate classes for the department as well as for the Mathematics Education master’s program. From 1986-1998 she held various administrative roles and was on the faculty at Brevard Community College in Cocoa, Florida. Prior to that she served as a secondary mathematics teacher and department chair. Dr. Crouse holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and a Master of Education in Mathematics from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from UCF.
